While Cincinnati winters are far from severe, they are long and dry enough to get things all dried out in your house...too dry.

I'd like to get a humidifier slapped onto my furnace (a heat pump) but know basically nothing about them.  Are there different types?  If so, what should I look for.  One brand stand out from the rest?

Thank you for your time.

I bought a Bionaire about a year ago. Cost around 50 bucks...it's great!

If you buy one, make sure it humidifies with steam( ie. no fan).

I can check w/ my brother, he's HVAC union.  It will depend on the size of your system (how much air is moved, square feet house, etc).  Make sure to keep your reloading supplies/ammo dry though.
