A co-worker of mine just purcahsed a 1931 Hudson automobile.  It's a beaut.. original mohair interior, wood spoke wheels, 6 volt electric with these ENORMOUS headlamps that must be a foot across easy.  He went down to the DMV to register (Historic Vehicle reg. with QQ plates), and the DMV drone behind the counter asked him..

"Does the vehicle have airbags?"

There's a special kind of stupid down there.

I'm convinced that the Civil Service exam really ensures that perspective .gov employees are incapable of independant thought.
