Tried them on a friends rifle. I don't like them. They rely on friction to make the adjustment. There is no discernable clicks to make sure your stopping point is the same each time.
Might be a good thing for the occasional "dial diddler". But I wouldn't recommend them. |

Right. Nothing like "real" target knobs on a scope manufactured with them. I guess they are better than nothing if you don't want to buy a new scope.

They are too expensive, too, at nearly $25 each. I have one set. It will be my last. I put them on a VariX-II which doesn't have clicks anyway. I thought if you put them on a scope with click adjustments, they would still have clicks. No?

Not true. They still have the same clicks as before installation. They work in the same manner as factory installed turrets. The knob on the turret engages with the screwdriver slot on the scope's windage and elevation adjustments. If installed by simply following directions they work well. |

They are only as good as the scope you put them on, if it has discernible audible clicks then that will be transfered through the knobs, if the scope is cheap or does not have good discernible clicks then obviously adding the knobs will not make the clicks discernible. ( did that make any sense? )

I've got them on a Leupold. They "click" just fine for me, and I like them very much.

WHAT!!! you mean that if I put these on a tasco scope It wont preform like a Leupold? Say it isnt so!
