I just got to thinking about this now absent soda (Crystal Pepsi). I loved that stuff! That is before they added the citrus flavor that completely killed any desire for me to drink it. Do you think that if I bought a can/bottle off ebay the stuff would still be good? Would there be any harm in tasting/drinking it? I would love to be able to taste it again.

Yep...a reallly slow night......

No, it wouldn't be any good. CSDs start to lose thier flavor and carbonation after about 10 months, and would taste like shit by now. There would not be anything harmful it it.

I used to drink it.  I liked it better than regular Pepsi, and it was a bit of a novelty.

My all time favorite soda that isn't around anymore is Apple SLICE!  I could drink that stuff all day!

I remember it, though I was probably only in middle school at the time.  Certainly liked it though.

The non-citrus blend ofcourse.

No, but I rememebr Miller clear. It was a clear beer. I actually liked it. It never made it out of the 3 markets where it was being tested. Richmond, VA was one test market.

I was a big fan.  Again, the non citrus style.  I had some on a family vacation in CA and about a year and a half later it made it to MO.  Drank it till they put the lemon shit in.

Other good (now gone) sodas:

Josta
Karizma

Aren't they still making it in some parts of the country?

I was amazed when I went to Chicago for the first time and saw that they were actually selling Coke 2.

I thought it was cool, even though I prefered the regular pepsi taste.  But I was just a young teenager at the time.

If you want turkey gravy soda.. look no further

Stuff tastes like thanksgiving dinner in liquid form, after sitting around three weeks on the kitchen counter.  It was so popular as a collectors item.  Bottles sold on ebay for hundreds of dollars.

dammit troy, you beat me to it.

+1 on the new york seltzer.

i also liked clearly canadian (not that i have any particular love for the canucks themselves). but then again,  i've got a nice pic of a girl with a clearly canadian bottle up her pooper, so i might be biased.
