Don't think much of McDonalds in general but I too have to have a "gooburger" now and them. Damn, they are good.

Headache is a relatively common complaint with MSG though I will not understand why. Just the salt of an amino acid. Hope you feel better.

MSG can be a trigger for my migrains.. so yes.

I have days where I know I can eat whatever I want and days where I have to be real picky.
MSG, Nutrasweet or related, any high nitrate foods such as bacon, sausage, bologna.

Thank goodness for Imitrex, Axert, and Maxalt.  they rid me of my migrains pretty quick.. 800mg of ibuprofen works as well, but takes longer and doesnt get rid of it.. just completely masks the pain.

Remember MSG is also reponsible for dry-mouth feeling after you eat. When you read an ingrediants label, anything that says "hyrolized" is another word for MSG.

No not at all.

When I'm eating Chinese food I prefer soy sauce that has MSG to soy sauce without it.

yes, MSG does give me head aches

*also makes me thirsty
*cause me to have a "dull feeling" in my head similiar to how it feels when you have a cold
*I feel drowsy and not as alert after having an MSG overdose, I actually feel sleepy at the wheel after having a meal with too much MSG, I start weaving on the hwy from getting sleepy
*sometimes I get cold sweats after having too much MSG

McDonalds food doesnt have any effect on me, certain Chinese & Vietnamese foods have much more MSG in the seasoning

too much sodium in your system is bad for your body and causes high blood pressure

I dont eat take out foods that often that is another reason why my body isnt use to eating MSG, if you eat it all the time your body gets use to it.

YES!

MSG is known to induce migraine headaches, along with certain other foods, such as chocolate, certain cheeses, red wine, orange juice, and a few other things.
