I like his music. I hate what he stands for. Sucks when a song is catchy.
I've never defended anything he's ever said in a song - raping his mom, killing his wife, blaming Bush, etc. This doesn't surprise me at all. |

You know what I really hate more than anything about that video?
He shows a soldier who comes home and sees that he has orders to deploy to Iraq. The soldier gets sad and angry and then looks at his girlfriend/wife/hoe whatever and she looks sadly back at him. The video goes on to imply that Bush is some kind of bad guy because he's sending that guy off to war and now he won't be able to protect his hoe. This is the mentality of so many people my age and younger nowdays. Join up in the military to get a free ride to college from the governement, but oh no! Don't make me go to war, that's not what I signed up for! Well, then WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SIGN UP FOR DIPSHIT!!! To get a free handout from the government?  People are so stupid nowdays that they don't even know what the military is for anymore! If you join you better DAMN WELL be prepared to be sent off to fight and DIE in battle! And as if fuckwad emminem has ever been in the military Yeah right. I certainly wouldn't want a coward like that fighting for me.

Does anyone remember the walking hammers from The Wall (Pink Floyd) . IIRC, they were supposed to symbolize the way schools turn out a mass produced product. I thought that it was supposed to evoke Fascist images and associations.
Yet here's M&M and the way I saw it, he IS the hammers. He's adopting Fascist propaganda. Lose your self WAS a good tune, with a fairly good message... what I could understand. This tune was boring, repetitive, and I couldn't understand the words at all. Last night, I told my daughter we would start a band; me on guitar, her on clarinet, and for lead vocalist, we'd bring in the cat, let the bulldog bite it, and record the results. M&M ... your 15 minutes are WAY up. Deal with it. |
