And then I was wondering about the movie "There's Something About Mary" where "Woogie" just started breaking out in blisters and a rash... any one else show physical signs of stress and how?

Lack of sleep is a major cause of stress.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've gone through several periods in my life where stress caused all sorts of weird physcial responses.

Came damn near getting a ulcer when I was burried alive at work, competing for a promotion and the then wife was in her thrid trimester.  Energy level dropped to zero, had a hyper-sensitive stomach, couldn't sleep and finally went to the Dr. when I projectile vomited about 10 seconds after drinking a glass of orange juice.  Put me on some meds to calm my over-active tummy, I withdrew my name from the promotion and generally learned how not to worry about shit I had no control over.

A few times in my life I've had the eye twitch thing so bad I DID look like Chief Inspector Dreyfus.

Ulcers are caused by bacteria not stress. Stress can cause acid build up which irritates the ulcer causing people to believe that the ulcer is caused by stress.

I tend to think that the mind/body interactions are much more complex than we like to believe.  One of my mentors said, "When the body is sick, the mind sympathizes; and when the mind is sick, the body sympathizes."

One example: there seems to be a correlation with type A personalities and an increased risk of heart attack.

Never really had a bad case of the Woogies, though I've seen acne flareups in times of stress.

I just push it down deep where it will fester into a mental illness later.

Once in awhile some seeps out and I'll rant about the oddest thing that annoys me.

Yes, most definitely.

When I am under stress, I grind my teeth in my sleep.  I will also notice that I have a sore jaw, and realize that I have tension in my neck and jaw.  I have to consiously remember to relax my jaw.

When work was bad, I got an ulcer.  I have also noticed that my allergies are worse when I am stressed out.  I think that the stress releases chemicals that agrivate the condition.  Then there is the insomnia.  It is 3:30am and I woke up at 6:30am yesterday.

Yes.  To name a few:
Ulcers
heartburn
fever blisters/herpes outbreaks (if already infected)
wrinkles
twitches
back/shoulder/neck pain
tension headaches
constipation/diarrhea
hair loss
sweaty hands
hives
eczema
psoriasis
etc.

I know a lot about stress.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...

Eye twitching?  Try evaluating your computer set up -  monitor height, refresh rate, amount of use (porn surfing) - all that stuff could play into this -  I'm serious.

Nope. Somatoform and conversion disorders are entirely different from simple physiological responses to stress.

Stress causes a sympathomimetic response, where stress hormones jack up heart rate, breathing, cause constriction of blood vessles, all sorts of fun stuff. Long term stress has also been shown to lower white cell counts, weakening the immune system.

Hitting the basics like eating well, sleeping enough, staying hydrated, exercising, etc. have been shown to mitigate the effects of stress.

By the way, why are you yelling? Feeling stressed?

I get a pain that runs down the back of one of my legs.  It starts at the middle of one of my buttocks, runs through the hip socket on that side and down to the back of my knee.  It's so bad that I limp and can hardly get in and out of a chair without wincing.  When I was a sales guy it was predictable at the end of the fiscal year.  Now it shows up whenever I am super-stressed.
