looking at these "guns" that shoot .25 caliber bullets
they say that these suckers will shoot actual, metal projectiles (NOT airsoft)

anyone try these?
they said that they are good for target practice, and they are pretty cheap too; full auto available

so how about it? sound good or no?

Wasn't this the outfit that SteyrAUG ordered something from because they told him they were "trainers" for police departments, and when he got them they were jsut shitty cheap airsoft or BB guns or something like that?

If I'm not mistaken .25 cal is 6mm, which would be airsoft.

yea i know

but they sell ammo that says:"metal hollowpoints"--200rnds

this does not sound like airsoft

i also heard that these guns can safely shoot .25 ACP bullets; this dont sound right to me, cause the web site says that you only have to be 18 to buy; any pistol that shoots .25 acp, i thought you HAVE To be 21

I wouldnt waste your time. Years ago when I was a kid I saw an add in a magazine for these really cool knives. One was a "genuine Bowie Knife" and I wanted it. it was like $25 or so. So I worked hard and earned the money and finally sent my order in and waited weeks and weeks and finally got a small envelope from them containing my 'knife' Geeze that thing was so smal that if it had had a magnet on the back of it I could have used it to adorn my refrigerator. Im talking like maybe 4 - 4 1/2" in overall length. The blade was a POS. Sheesh I could do more with a kitchen knife.

So I sent the thing back, got my money back and a few days later bought a REAL bowie knife for half the price of the refrigerator magnet.

BTDT.

The "Bullets" they are refering too.  Are conical peices of plastic.  So they are not the 6mm round balls like airsoft, but still just toys.  And crappy ones too.

"Metallic hollow points" are the same plastic bullets with some chrome paint and a hole drilled in the center of it.

Yes, I spent the $20 on the experiment.  Before I got into REAL guns.  I still have that POS somewhere in a drawer.  My "real" airsoft guns are actually better for shooting paper indoors than that piece of crap.
