I've been listening to Mad Season for the last two weeks now it looks like I'll be digging out some Alice in Chains. ARFCOM is starting to choose my music.

If you like AIC, you should get Jerry Cantrell's "degredation trip"...it sounds like AIC, with Jerry on vocals instead of Layne...RIP

Last one got jacked before I could rip a backup. Such is the cost of having too many people over to the apartment. :(

I'm sorry, apparently I've stumbled into a ten year old post.

Didn't mean to disturb the has-beens/never-weres.

Good band, great sound.
Too bad Layne Staley was such a drug addicted piece of shit.
The least he could have done was gone out with a bang - ala Kurt Cobain.

My favorite 90's band by far.  A dark, haunting sound, you know instantly when one of their tunes comes on who the hell is playing.

I remember watching VH1 the night Alice n Chains did the unplugged gig, I was pretty much in awe how well they sounded even with Staley looking extremely frail.  By far the best unplugged, hell the unplugged version of Would just fucking ROCKS -- that bassline is now going thru my head.

Better to make the decision to redecorate your place with your brains rather than just die in a pile of your own vomit/shit/piss like a loser.

 Shazaammm!!.

Based on that you might faint if you saw the DVD on a kickass home theater system.  Most of us bought it for about $15.

The surround sound & picture quality is just a wee bit better.

Alice In Chains, good stuff.  I'd guess "Again" would be one of my favorites by them, featuring incredible harmonies between Staley & Cantrell, and one of the most menacing, driving guitar/bass lines you will ever hear.

Meanwhile, Eddie Vedder still walks upon this earth.

There's no justice.

Not at all.

The best thing Kurt ever released was the safety.
