It has Sarah Michelle Gellar in it.  Do you people need any other reason to see it

I've seen some of the original version, Ju on (sp?) and it was creepy as hell. That dead chick crawling around gave me the heebie jeebies.

S.M. barely shows anything.

But it was worse than The Ring. which, by the way, they made a sequal to.

Not a new movie, it's a remake of Ju-On.

It does look scary as crap though.

I think my movie money is going for Friday Night Lights though.

Just saw the trailer. Looks like something that is riding on the coat tails of The Ring .

Rating of PG-13???????????

If it's going to be any good it has to have a R rating or at least a rating of XXX

Saw it last night, and I'll admit that I am a little on the weenie side, but I spent most of the movie with my eyes covered!  I'm sure QS is crappy for spending $9 for a movie that I missed most of!

When we got in line for this thing I noticed it was PF13 and was thinking it was gonna suck.  I was wrong!  This movie was pretty scary.  I liked it a lot.

It was not scary at all.

It was stupid, but the 13 yr olds were screaming throughout the movie.

The Ring was a lot better.

I am a "horror movie nut", but it has been very many years since ANY movie that I have seen has been more than a pathetic attemot to be scary.

Ditto too

I miss Buffy.  I have season 1-6 on DVD.  Waiting for #7.

The Grudge was pretty scary but the ending sucked.

Would any one here stick their head in that attic?

Saw it last night, it was alright. Mind you I grew up with a horror movie fanatic mother. My childhood nightmares had me pretty f@*k#d up. After a while, they were all like watching a movie.

Grudge got to the GF and her daughter. They didn't want to go into any room of the house alone, for several hours.

I personally didn't care for the ending, but YMMV.

I don't usually like horror movies but this one was pretty scary. My hair even stood on end in one scene.

The audience of pre-teens was awful and I made a pledge only r-rated horror movies after this.

I got to admit it made me jump once.  It takes alot to make me flinch and this one did.

Good Movie.

I saw it today and agree that it is pretty unique as scary movies go.  More suspense than blood and gore which is good since it seems all your typical chop-chop flicks try to do is out-gore the previous one.

The movie was definitly creepy as hell.  I'll never listen to house noises the same again.  The only time my believability was suspended was when the spirit(s) targeted the sister at her work place and apartment.  The likelyhood they would leave their "house" to wander around Tokyo didn't seem very plausible to me.

Also saw (no pun intended) the trailers for Saw and Seed of Chucky.  Saw looks interesting too.  Chucky looks....well, it's a Chucky movie, what more can one say.

I saw "Saw," I liked it however I dont think it was a great movie.

It was interesting though me and my friends were thinking of ways how we would have gotten out of the situation that the guys were put in.

"Five by five" POW! I miss that shit. That was the best season of Buffy (3)

SM is H-O-T, so is Elizah Dushku... neither are as hot as Allison Hannigan (Willow adn the red head from American Pie)

Well here's a question;  What do you shoot it/him with?  Doesn't look like your run of the mill zombie to me.  Whats the best caliber for creepy little kids in goth makeup that "meow"?

I know what I'd shoot him/it/her with...whatever I could grab!
I was reachin for a handful of 200 grain +P  JHP after that first chick stuck her head in the attic.

Jus got back from seeing this. I thought it was okay at best. Wish I wouldve waited for PPV though. It needs an R rating, siting there listening to 13 year olds got old real quick, they were asked by management to STFU, The plot line was too confusing, too much backflashing. IMO, the RING was way better and actually was easier to follow. IMO, dont waste your money or time at theater, there was a couple pop out and scare ya stuff, but it was no The RING.
