I'm mainly voting for him because i'm scared of the alternatives.  At least we're clear on his intentions in those areas.  He's not gonna change his mnd when there are dollars, or whatever other motivating factor it takes, waved in his face.
He's a man of integrity and has not, in my opinion, with the information he had at the time, been bone to make poor decisions.
Maybe it's my hatred of the Anything but Bush campaign, and the lack of any real clear message, which tells me there's no clear alternative, that will make me vote W.

I am voting for Bush because I dont think BUsh is all that bad.

Far from perfect.  There are things I would like to see him improve on.

But Kerry is a total idiot.

I would support Civil War if it meant ousting Kerry in office.  And I wouldnt be surprised if it happened honestly.

I want a leader who will not waiver in the face of terrorism.
I want a President who shows exactly what his intentions are for the country.
I want someone who honors the Executive Branch of the government.
I agree with President Bush's economic policies.
I feel the same way as GWB does on education standards.
I want a Commander in Chief who supports our troops.
I want a real President.
I want George W. Bush.

I am not a signle issue voter nor a Anybody But Kerry Voter

I believe that the concept of Liberalism has failed.  California is the classic example.  For 40 years Democrats controlled Congress.  They always spoke of helping those that lived in poverty but it wasn't until Clinton signed a conservative measure, the Welfare Reform Act, that something was actually done.  Liberals want to throw money at schools and fund education at outrageous levels but with no way to measure results.  Enter No Child Left Behind.

Reagan's stance against Liberalism ended the Cold War and pulled us out of one of the most miserable eras in American History.  How America and the world would have been different if Jimmy Carter saw a second term.

From Reagan's 1992 Convention Speech:
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong
You cannot help the wage earner by hurting the wage payer
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves

But the most important reason I am voting for George W. Bush

SCOTUS

Suffice to say GWBush is the better candidate and the better man than anyone else running.

When it comes to taking action to defend America's security, GWBush doesn't have a "global test" written in French.

And I don't want four more of these on the SCOTUS:

1) Supreme Court and lower court appointments.  NOTHING has more of a bearing on EVERY domestic issue than this (Guns, etc.).  ESPECIALLY because this country is SO divided, and gridlock and filibusters rule the day.

Tied for Number One:

1) The War on Terror.  We need consistancy.  We need agressive, offensive plans.  We need balls.
Kerry has NONE of these things.  Kerry will "send messages", just as Clinton did by refusing armor to the Army in Somolia, and then turning tail.
Kerry HAS ALWAYS been an opponent of all things military.
Since returning from Vietnam he has CONSISTANTLY been a part of the Leftist culture that depises the military, the CIA, and the FBI.

2) Kerry is a weasely, mealy mouthed snob, who pretends to be everything he is.  There's no core. He's never made a cent in his life, he lives off of the hard earned money of better men.  He lies, recants, changes his mind, changes it again, and then again.   All so that he can satisfy the audience in front of whom he finds himself.

3) He throws like a girl.  I don't trust a man who throws like a girl.

4) He spends more on a single haircut, than I do on haircuts for an entire year.
And I get mine cut once a week.

5) His choice of a runningmate.  What better determiner of a man's judgement?  Essentially, Kerry looked at all of the men in the Country, and decided that other than himself, John Edwards was best qualified to be President.
John Edwards.
That girl.  His qualifications?  Uneventful first term of office in the Senate.  Lawyer.  Period.
Oh, nice hair, too.
Makes you wonder...

I can agree there.  Kerry does have some socialist values, like doing away with tax breaks for the poor but keeping them for the rest of us.  Health care for every american could be seen as socialist but i think its still a better idea than having a shitload of HMO's.

There's no such thing as "tax breaks for the poor".
The poor don't pay taxes, therefore they can't get a TAX break.
Get it?

It's sad to see that you've somehow been brainwashed into repeating these hackneyed Leftist Cliches.

Personally, I think that anyone with a brain should stop before the phrase "tax breaks for the poor" even makes it out of their mouths.
It so obviously is a Leftist Lie.

That alone FAR outwweighs any faults he may have.  Just think, the two most recent republican presidents (Regean and Bush Sr.) actually did things to harm gun owners.

Could be seen as a socialist? WTF are you smoking it is socialism!  Have you ever been to the DMV?  How would you like going to the doctors office and take a number and have them tell you that your MRI can be done in 6 months vs. 1 week here.  No one has a right to healthcare.  It is not the job of the government to keep you healthy.  It is YOUR JOB!

I honestly don't know most of what Kerry stands for, what he truely believes in, what core values he holds in his heart as true and unchanging.

His senate voting record shows that he supports any and all types of gun control, which is a major, major negative for me personally. On other issues, he seems to have taken both sides at one time or another, something he seems oddly proud about.  By trying to stand on both sides of every issue, it seems to me that he ends up standing for nothing.

I don't agree with Bush on every issue, but at least I know where the man stands.

Why stop at free healthcare? Why not give free food, free water, free clothing and free housing to anyone who demands it as their "right"?

If healthcare is a "right" that ought to be PROVIDED to people, how is food, clothing and shelter not also a right?
