It is a Catholic mens group that spends alot of time at their CHurches doing things like feeding the poor, having fund raisers to help people, and they drink alot at their meetings.
They usually are also the ones in charge of the church ushers and other mass related things. SGtar15 |

They wear really cool costumes. When one of the leaders of the Catholic Church comes to our church, they're part of the whole ordeal. They line up and do that arch thing with their swords which the Bishop walks through. I guess they're like church military. THEY DO DRINK! They ARE Catholic after all.

Been a knight for several years. They do social work within the Church and Community, like visiting the sick, raise money for (usually) worthwhile causes, making pancakes for church breakfasts, etc.
The networking opportunities can be pretty good. Worth it in and of itself. Rule 1: Don't rat on fellow knights to women. If there are any womenfolk reading this, I've never known a knight to imbibe during weekend retreats or functions.  |

 As a "former" Catholic, I can vouch for the fact that the K of C do a lot of GREAT work, and the members I've met have been a pleasureable bunch. They're good people. Period. |

It was created to be an alternative for Catholic Masons... like all fraternal orders they make positive contributions to their communities. God bless tham.

Though I'm a non-Catholic, I've helped our Knights with fund raisers and Bar-B-Q's that they have in town.
They also have a retarded citizens drive once a year. I tried to give them my neighbor but...
