Point them to teh Army times pool, 72% support Bush, and that percentage gets even higher if you only poll troops who have been deployed since 9/11.

THe military is a microisim of society, so you will have dimocrats serving.
However, the vast majority of the military is Republican, and THAT is why Gore tried to get the military absentee ballots thrown out in FLA. |

I think she's fucking lying. The whole unit?? I doubt that. DU is one big support group for delusional people who have no clue what reality is. I see this kind of shit posted over there all the time, stuff like "my whole neihbor hood is voting for Kerry and I'm in (insert swing state).
They are losing thier grip, Kerry is falling behind and now it's time to "prop up" the liberal base. Fuck em. Sometime about 10PM Nov 2nd when the returns are coming in and projection being made DU will go nuclear and meltdown. |

I can tell you that TO A MAN, the SF guys I know from SOCOM are very big Bush supporters. Almost all of these guys have been in the shit over there as well.

Completely illegal and prohibitted under the UCMJ. In 23 years and 6 months of my service I never once heard a single person make so much as a peep about who to vote for. Not one. I heard thousands of guys talking about the importance of voting, how to get an abscentee ballot, how to register, when to vote ... only in private conversations between concenting adults did I ever hear anything come up politically. There was of course, almost universal hate towards Clinton but that came from the draconian budget cuts more than anything. What unit are you in? |
