Not, not airsoft.

For some reason my cats arent doing their jobs, so I have a bunch of gophers that need to be taken care of.

I am pretty much clueless about airguns, so I need some reccomendations.

Price range?  Less than $200.

Check out the Gamo line. If your going to hunt with it I would get one of the 1000fps models.

Save up a few more bucks and get an RWS 48.

That company that advertises is SGN called Compasseco- they import some quite servicable inexpensive vermin plinkers.

See also the Aguilla brand of "no powder" .22 lr ammo.  Just a little pop. Excellent in revolvers, Semi autos and rifles might not work. Goes thru 1/4" of plywood at 4'.

Feed your cats less, and I agree about the RWS!

I have a Gamo Shadow 1000.

.17/1000fps

It was $149.00

Eye shots at 30 yds does the trick

Get a Drozd, it's a russian imported air gun that is CO2 powered. It fires semi auto, 3 shot burst and 6 shot burst.

You can send those critters to critter hell with that

Yeah, I came into some extra money this month, I think I am going to get a Drozd AND an RWS.  If anyone can think of a reason not to, speak up now!

I don't have one but I have been told that regualr copper clad BB's are tough on the barrel at full auto. They say that lead BB shot is best for full auto fire, you can get it where you get the stuff to reload shotguns.

I have a Beeman R9.  1000 fps with 177 pellets.  Worth the money.
