So how many U.S. parts would be needed for a sks with a folding stock, bayonet and detachable mag. If I remember right a U.S. made mag would count a three parts and then the folding stock atleast another three this seems like it would be plenty for a standard sks but what about the sporters that take ak mags. I have a U.S. made stock set which should count as 3-4 and then some U.S. mag followers another U.S. part is this enough and if not any suggestions.

For an SKS? None, i think.

Are you asking about a stock SKS or one that is tricked out with FS and all?

Note the part about the SKS having TWO disconnectors that have to be counted separately as imported parts.  This guy is RIGHT on that issue.
