No brother... not calling him out... but since he called me an idiot and told me I didn't know what the fuck I was talking about... and did so publicly... thought I would just "share" this with him.

Note, I never said it would win the election for Kerry... I simply made the statement that it gives him plenty of political imagery to fire up his base and to create a little momentum through that enthusiasm.

But what the hell do I know... its just what EVERYBODY was talking about today... and I mentioned it would happen like within two minutes of the game ending...

Take a top rated TV show, if they said they would stop filming if Bush wins I expect Karry would gain 500,000+ votes.

If Kerry goes to a game, it is not beyond reason that he will get booed, even in Boston. George Bush generally is well received at sporting events, and would likely receive a standing O, even in Boston.

Besides, G.W. can throw a strike from the mound if he gets to throw out a first pitch.

John Kerry throws like a girl and would be the laughing stock of blue collar for about, oh, say a week?

I want to make one thing really clear. I agree beyond belief it is stupid. My point all along is campaigns pay people like me to generate and promote these types of positive images and messages and to tie positive events in people's lives (such as this) to a candidate. It does speak poorly of the electorate, but it doesn't mean it isn't true... There is a segment of the electorate that can be led around by the partisan, or team loyalty, ring in their nose.

There are times I wish I was dead wrong, this is one of them... but I'm not.

This is a crock of shit, just mental wanking to help sell a few papers in the last 10 days before the elections.

Of FAR more importance to the President is the garbage Kerry is spewing about the flu vaccine shortage. This CAN hurt him, especially in FLA. You don't want to piss of the old folk this close to Nov. 2. The President needs to come out swinging on this one.
