bought mine when I was 19 yo in Brazil. Now it just keeps my USGI shoulder holster from collapsing and hardening

Mid 30's- no airsoft. Airsofter need to stay far away from this site or have their OWN forum so they will quit posting stupid shit in the GD and optics forum. Between the Airsoft crap and the Black men white women crap this site is going downhill fast.

I would give a child an air soft gun LONG before I would
give them a BB gun. They have very useful training purposes, but as far as trying to play comando with em..  |

39 and I have one...but it doesn't even work on its internal gas tank due to a leaky fill valve. It's in my collection "just because", and it's a relatively rare type that MIGHT become collectible and worth more than I paid for it. (Which wasn't much!)
However, it works just fine when connected to an external air source via its port in the pistol grip. Lotsa fun! (It's a Kokusai XM-177 replica, gas mechanism.) CJ |

25, I've never understood the appeal fro civilians to dress up in camo and go shoot each otehr with plastic bbs.

43 and never even seen one in person. When I was a kid, we did the same thing with our BB guns, except we used real metal BB's. It was stupid then too, but for a different reason. We called it "playing combat" and pretty much outgrew it by age 13.

I've got a nice USP 9 GBB that is great for plinking when watching TV and it's also a good way to introduce someone that's never held a firearm in their life to the basics of gun handling and use of the sights.
I've also got a couple of cheap spring action Airsofts as well as as Crossman CO2 pellet gun and rifle and a CP99 Walther pellet gun. I'm 47.

There is a airsoft forum here already .  29 and no I don't have one , but I do plan on picking one up soon for my son . I figure it would be a good way to start a 5 year old off . All of the bb guns I have seen in the same price range are craptastic . |
