I thought there was no question as to whether the democrats (like Hollywood) go after the least common denominator.
By the way, I've been reading that this tax bill is a joke. The estate tax repeal won't take place until 2010 and then the whole tax bill expires in 2011. WTF? |

There was a detailed series of articles in Time magazine (commie magazine as I call) explaining the sunset provisions in the tax cut. Most of the cuts expire one year after they reach full maturity. They mentioned the bright side of it is it would be political suicide for any Congressman who voted against renewing it. So, around 2010 it's important that we all get on the horn and express our views. One thing that pissed me off a little is the language Time used in explaining the cuts. For instance, the cut will "cost" such and such. They went on and on, "cost", "cost", "cost". Cost? What kind of BS is that? It's our money, not the govt's money! It will cost them too much to give us our money back? |

To a hard core Democrat all monies earned must be handed over to the Government for the good of the people. The idea of giving people their own money back with no strings attached simply does not compute for them.
Thats difficult for us to understand but thats really how they see it. They truly think the Government can best spend people's money. Now some people (us) don't see things that way and you never know, we might not want to go along with their program. Lets see I guess step one needs to be DISARM the people...... |

you know its funny, we talk about how stupid they (the dems) are and its all funny etc... but i, as well as all of you know liberals personally. we debate them at get togethers and joke with each other about this or that, but they really are stupid. im not joking or just throwing it out there, they completely lack common sense, have an extremely odd sense of humor and refuse to expand their scope of knowledge beyond what is required by their job or even school. i think collectively, the democratic party is really a party of stupid people. although i will say that those in charge of it are extremely intelligent, unfortunately that intelligence is clouded by either evil intentions or misplaced ones.

They don't or cannot conceive what is actually going on in everday life. They trust in words & intentions never looking at the candidates actions or record. |

The liberals I've met have been pretty smart - they've tricked most of the population into voting themselves into poverty, government dependence and moral bankruptcy. They are boiling their frogs very slowly.
The class envy weapon works so well that I’ve seen gun owners here spouting it. If Bill Gates makes another Trillion dollars next year how do I lose one shiny nickel (unless I work for Novell)? We need less government and more personal freedoms. |
