It's all Bush's fault. If he had funded "No Child Left Behind" then I would be able to spell correctly. But don't worry, John Kerry has a plan to edukater me.

This reminds me of a scene from the movie Platoon where "King" is writing a letter home to his girlfriend.
King's friend (as he leans over and reads what King is writing): It ain't dere, it's dear....and Sarah ain't got no two R's. Damn King, you're dumb! King: It don't matter, she don't read too good no how. |

Spell checker are good but its knot the the best. Won can say I can spell exceptionally, butt it is the grammar which separates you're common imbecile from sum of the utter morons. Even using an spelling checker wood knot catch all Mrs. Stakes. Its so simple to spell thing correctly, but then again eye is no good when ewe mean "I". No what eye am saying? There is always too ways of spelling things that have to meanings... This is all I be tying 2 elaborate.
(Used spell checker, and it approves the above massage) Sly |

What amuses me is when you deal with someone on a regular basis (friend/coworker) and they seem reasonably intelligent... until you come across something they have written.
One of my sales associates holds a master's degree in education and he can't spell correctly to save his life. It becomes embarrassing because whatever he writes gets archived forever in our data base of customers, so that when a repeat customer comes in for service we can see what the last salesman wrote on the ticket. He claims he can spell, he just doesn't have the time to do it correctly. Anyway, I'm glad this is a lighthearted gun board to hang out at because I have never seen so many dumb-ass non-spelling mamba jambas congregated in one location in all my life, recording their misspelled wisdom for posterity. |

I sincerely hope that nobody posts that goddamn quote about Cambridge and the order of letters in a word. We ALL fucking know it by heart by now.

i have been on systems so long that i just no longer give a shit.
If you can get the general drift of my posting that is good enough. Unless it's going to affect my paycheck or my personal life i don't really give 2 shits if it's spelled properly. mike |

Does anyone have that Foxtrot cartoon where the geek kid types in the "Mary had a little lamb" poem in a similar fashion, and when the spell checker says it's OK, he responds with, "Proof positive that humans will always be superior to machines"? It's a classic! |
