We're talking about NEW YORK here, buddy, and a candidate from BOSTON.

Normal rules of logic don't apply.....

If they went and said they would cancel a major TV show if someone Bush gets  relected, most people would make sure he didnt.

It'd be cool if TX won and Bush won. Texas would have one hell of a party.

If Houston and Boston play then Boston will have 10,000 umpires waiting to contest the outcome...

Didn't he get booed the last time he went to a Boston game?

I thinkl it helps Bush for two reasons.  First, Sox fans are obnoxious and will turn off modest midwesterners in places like Iowa and Minnesota.  Second, if they win the Series expect Sox fans to be burning and looting in Boston, and hay will be made of it.

That's my theory.

Don't forget... New Jersey folks are ALL Yankee fans.
St. Louis is a semi-swing state.

He WILL get booed.  He'll get booed because he's a snotty prick, and baseball fans will enjoy booing him.
Tens of thousands of fans booing will sound great.

Then his "people" will no doubt insult the fans.

Hillary avoided the World series when she ran in 2000 -that was smart.

Kerry isn't.

So..... pressur must be brought to bear on Kerry.
He HAS to go to at least one game.

Please. Take about wacked analysis.

There is NOTHING more obnoxious that a NY Yankees fan. Ever. In the history of "obnoxious."

I'll call it a tie.

They got a jail cell and courthouse judge right at the stadium  in Philly, open for business each Sunday.

IIRC that would be a first also for the visiting team, Houston,  to win a series where all the other games were home town wins.  Unprecedented.....

At this rate Nader might squeak out a victory.

We're going to have to agree to disagree.  (I also find Mets fans worse than Yankees fans)

This was actually commented on during a Fox News morning show yesterday where they did a comparison of winning world series teams and presidential elections that fell during the same year.

If the team was from the same state as one of the candidates, they usually both won.  Think there were only 10 examples of that happening throughout our history.  Might have been less.

It was just a watercooler type news story.

PS.  Apparently one rioting fan was killed by the cops in Boston.  Not good PR for Kerry.
