Fuckers extorted 10% of my check every week so I could work in a union shop. Never got any fucking benefits of any kind. But if I didnt do it they would harass you until you did. One dude didnt want to pay. One day the cocksuckers threw a 2X4 under his hilo while he was moving freight and almost flipped him over. I paid the initiation fee but somehow avoided the 10%. These guys are definitely not far off from the Sopranos. There were guys on our schedule that never showed up but never got fired either.

I resigned from my union this year. I know that's not an option for mostl folks that are union members. |
