I drove up to the stop sign down my street this morning...there, was woman in the car who was farding, no cares in the world, just farding away. I finally beeped my horn and she moved along. Why do women do this in their car? Why can't they do it at home? Next to cell phones, farding is so annoying.

For those of you listening at home, "farding" means "applying makeup in the car".

Yeah, I thought he just couldn't spell correctly.  A guy complaining about women farting?  Now the tables have really turned.

I don't like that either.  It takes me a whole 5 minutes to put on makeup.

And that is from a woman!

I haven't heard of it.  I read the topic, and I was like Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, mate?

It doesn't take me any time at all to put on make-up.

No, no Mrs.Gloft...women putting make-up in the car, it upsets me to no end. WHy can't they do that at home? It's dangerous and unwise. Not to mention sitting at a stop sign or red light while others are watching you putting lipstick and rouge on, lets the other drivers see you're not paying attention. Could cause an accident. I don't clean my guns while driving...why are they painting their faces?

Yes, it means to paint your face or put on make-up. I heard it on RUSH some time ago, today it hit home. I just sat behind her and waited. Then beeped my horn, the way they give you that "OOoo, so sorry look.." it just grinds me. There should be a law against it, seriously. The cell phone thing is one thing but doing your own beauty care on the way to wokr puts people's lives in danger. Not at the stop sign but in general. And yes, women will do it whilst driving too.
