CA Members, Sorry if your rates went up. I know unexpected bills a a problem for everyone.

I hear a lot on the news about the increase but never get any numbers. Can any of the CA members tell us what you are being charged for electricity? On My bill it is about 12.5 cents per KWH (Kilowatt Hour)

I just got a notice in the mail from GWP that our overall rates are going up just a bit, 5%? or so. DWP just opened another power plant ahead of schedule which means they are making quite a lot of money selling surplus power to the rest of the state.

People using Edison or PG&E for power had their rates go up somewhere over 20-25%.

I'm shocked that Gray Davis didn't seize the new power plant in the name of California and hike ALL your power bills.
