I work for a small municipal Police Department, and we just received our new Glock 21's.  They are replacing our older model Glocks without the rail and finger grooves.

They beautiful part is...........THE NEW HI-CAP MAGS DO NOT HAVE LE/GOV RESTRICTED ON THEM!!

These are the first "new" mags I have seen without the stamp. I guess it just hadn't sunk in until now.

I almost want to say this thread is worthless without pics...   but then, it's only a Glock.

I picked up a Glock 20 and 22C last night, both had hi cap mags and *no* LEO restrictions marked on them.  The two test fired cases were dated 8/27/04.

One of these days I will need to drive down there and dispel this myth.

But, as the owner of a few Glocks at the bottom of the Delaware river (on the PA side, of course  ), I will say that the 1911 is an excellent design, with better form than the Glock.
