[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Are there too many people on arfcom now?

Have we become a victim of our (or goatboy's) success? I used to read every post every day on here. Now I can't read one post without all the rest being on the second page by the time I'm done. There is no way to get to nearly it all now. I used to have about seven or eight pages to catch up on by the time I got home. Now it's almost fifteen. It's all moving so fast for my slow old brain.

Anyone else been feeling this way?

Is it just me?

Is this a dupe of a thread I missed?

I agree, I think this board should close itself to all new members, let it die down a little.(OOPS forgot my smiley!)

No. Maybe too many in the day. I wish they'd post at night, so I have something to do. I read and type fast. At 0300, its dead here. A post every few minutes, if Taxman or Brasspile aren't around.

I certainly don't think that. I'm actually glad it is doing so well. The more people brought to the dark side the better. Just hard to keep up with it all. As far as all the trolling and drama, I've pretty much ignored most of it. Saves a lot on reading time.

Just amazed at all the growth recently. Remember when GB had to limit the server to 1000 people at a time? Now it seems there's a constant 2-3k with bumps nearing 4k. At least the board is running nice and quickly, minus the missing avatar to my left.
