Have you all started getting your shit together?

Just got some nice first aid kits from Costco(the liberal whores still have a nice store) and I have a ton of ammo and all of my weapons are dialed in.

Still need to get a nice propane stove, water and canned foods...

Do you guys keep/store gasoline? or do you figure you'll just take it from your neighbors after you shoot em and eat em?

... Yeah, it's kinda silly. There was far more hype over the Y2K non-event than that of the coming months. I see dark days ahead for this country in the slim chance sKerry gets in office.

If you're relying on Costco for your medical supplies.........you are in DEEP TROUBLE!

Go to a few of the Survival sites and hang around, you'll get the hang of it.

Up here on my little mountain ridge my neighbors and I could be self sufficient for quite some time.  We all have AR's, not to mention a TRUCKload of other guns.  Let civilization simmer for awhile. We have popcorn.

Bob you have to apply some electricity to the foil to get the proper effect or else DU radiation can penatrate.  First thing you know you'll be selling your guns and have a IQ that's on a downward slope.

Use Avgas if you have to store fuel. It will screw up catyletic converters but will store for decades in a sealed container.

I've been staying "semi" stocked ever since Y2K.  With our society the way that it is one major catastrophy and that's it, we're living in the stone age and rioting in the streets.  Let the power grid go down for a month and tell me it all won't go to hell in a handbasket.  This whole country(well, the cities at least) would be in utter chaos if the welfare checks and food stamps didn't get delivered on time.  Plus, around here we always get the odd power outage during the  winter so I've got to be ready for that if nothing else.  I'd rather be stocked up and ready then stick my head in the sand and hope that it'll never happen.

But wont it burn up your valves?

I wish I was more prepared.  I am but a college student with a part time job.  I have guns and ammo, but little else.  If the water and gas went out, I would be up shit creek in about 2 days.  Otherwise, I am up shit creek in about 2 weeks.
