This is a video of the newest addition to the Air Force arsenal, even more advanced than the F/A-22 and the F-35.

Updated hopefully working link

A pic would not do it justice.  It is a wingless flying lawn mower.

Someone what to explain how it works?  Cause I can't.

Major thrust to weight ratio and I would assume a lifting body design.

Crap!

I HATE those things.

It's an abomination to the Radio Controlled hobby.

Some old fart flying a lawnmower planes fly, lawnmowers mow grass.

Did I mention I HATE those things?

I asked a buddy at work that’s into this stuff and even used to work for an aircraft design company. He said he’s seen plans for it before. It’s an RC airplane built up to LOOK like a lawnmower but is anything but. It’s all made out of foam and wood, not metal. It’s powered by that airplane engine on the front and acts much like a flying wing. The handle section is actually the tail and gives it stability.

If you hung a camera on it, called it a UAV, and pitched it as "transformational technology", the asshats at DOD would buy thousands of them.
