lol smokycity your killing me! Yeah when you first start a relationship i'd say that is something to expect. I've done 4 hours on the phone before. After like 2 years nothing is an issue anymore and all that nonsense goes away.

Look when this happens and you want to get out of it all you do is this:

"Honey, I really want to work this out and talk it over with you. But right now I really think it would be beset to discuss this in person so I can pay more attention to all of what you have to say and attend to your needs best.

Until then I really don't think we can accomplish our goal as effective by talking this over on the phone right now.

I really want to work this out the BEST way because I love you so much"

Fucking works evertytime man. Your off the phone and she will calm down about it when you finally meet up with her in a day or two and it wont be a big thing.

Trust me, do what I said above and you will come off as a caring guy and she will get the hell of the phone.

Let me know next time if it works (which I am sure it will!)

How about a THREE hour phone call with the GUY who MARRIED my EX-fiance and wanted to know WHAT HIT HIM!!!
No kidding, I ended up spending three hours explaining to this poor guy that he had just married a woman with the mentality of a SERIAL KILLER!
And that's not an overstatement.

Dude I must be a real sucker, talk about 5 HOURS on the phone and a lot of smacking my head on the wall in frustration. Thank goodness that relationship is in the past and so is my willingness to do such things. 2 hours...some times, some times it is worth it. Just don't let it be a regular thing. That is a red flag if it is.

I would give anything to try and work it out with my ex. We had been together for 4 and a half years and engaged. She left on a business trip for a week and came back to tell me we are supposed to be together and she met someone else. No warning or anything. I just wasnt what she wanted anymore.

Maybe it's just me, but usually when a woman wants to talk about our relationship, it's usually because she is already considering other options and is looking for me to provide an excuse for her not to go.

Was your phone call during working hours? If so, that's a sure sign THE END IS NEAR!

Not since I was 16. Seriously. I'm not into high maintenance women, never have been. For the most part they are far more trouble than they are worth and there are ALWAYS more. The screwy, insecure ones are only good for a one nighter. Maybe a couple, if things are slow, but then move on and find a woman that doesn't have snakes in her head.
