1. Taking my new CMP M1 Garand out to the range today for the first time and hearing that classic "ching" when I emptied the first clip or 2. A little private "quality time" with the wife after being out of town the past 6 days.

Well the wife & I got out of bed at the same and when the feet hit the cold floor, furnace off and temp of 34, I stated well made it through another night. She said that made her happy, so she decided we needed to warm out feet for a while.
We spent most of the afternoon playing in the leaves with our 9 yr old daughter. Sure am glad that floor was cold. Wouldn't want to miss this day. |

I saw the most beautiful sunrise I have seen since I left my hometown.
I'm not shitting, you could see the boats heading out for the day and a low layer of fog....it was stunning. Oh yeah, and it was right before I clocked out to leave for the day, so double bonus
