I seem to notice more hair coming out. However, I just grew it out a little after about 8 years of having it very short, and I'm wondering if I'm just noticing it because the hairs are bigger. And I've been wearing a hat lately more often than I have in a while. But I dunno-I might be imagining it, but I think I'm starting to look a little thinner up front.

So, those who's hair has gone before mine-when did you first notice it? Hair coming out in the shower? Clumps? Couple at a time? How does it happen? What age did it start going?

I keep thinking mine is going, but after looking at pictures from several years ago I think it's just my imagination.

not receding but I"ve got a good number of grey hairs at the ripe old age of 23

male pattern baldness doesnt run in either side of the family

Im 22 my hair is thick and damned annoying, its been 3 weeks and I got to cut it again.

I wish some of it would go away

My hairline stopped receding, but then the center surrendered.

Unfortunately, all the hair that USED to grow on my head now seems determined to grow out of my nose, my ears, and across my back.

I've become a Clipper Comando trying to stay ahead of it all....

Don't use that Rogain shit, it made my hair fall out faster when I was using it

Mine has been on it's way out since I was about 21. When it's gone, it's gone!

Maybe by then they can graft some from my back???

Well at 22 if I let it get over 1/2th inch it starts itching, plus it bogs down my clippers when I cut it.

Started noticing thinning in my mid-20's. Now in my early 40s and its pretty well receeded. Think Garth Brooks and you'll get the idea. I knew what i was in for since childhood when I watched my dad go through the same process. Never had clumps fall out or anything.

That is supposed to be normal, a sign that it is working and new hairs are growing in and pushing out the old ones. However, Rogain is not really intended to work on receding hairline, just the "bald spot."

METT-T, you will usually notice it up front first (in the temple area). I first noticed it when I was 18

. I never noticed the hair "coming off" faster, just the thinning/receding hairline. Also, I'm not sure it this is real or just in my head, but the thinning areas seem to itch more.

Mine started at age 20. Now, three years later, it's becoming worse. I only notice hair on my pillow or near my hair brush on the sink.
