Just started....opening scene: White House press conference.  Subject - estranged husband enters church in Texas, shoots at wife, hits bystander instead.  "Person B" stands up and fires at bad guy, hits 9 year old girl. "Note that shooter A's .38 was registered, and shooter B had a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon".  Question from press "doesn't that law prohibit carrying in churches or synagouges?"  Answer "we'll let the Sheriff's Dept handle that question, but in short, only if the church or synagouge." "wait, we have new information, the 9 year old girl has died".  (Cut to commercial).

To create maximum political impact from an event that is anecdotal to the gun debate. Bill Clinton did that constantly.
