Zero.  But I did get out of 2.

The first one I got out of was because I was on my way to school for the first day of my senior year in '99 and really running late.  I was the class Sgt.  in the Butler County JVS Criminal Justice program in and was in uniform.  Our uniform is almost identical to an Ohio Highway Patrolman's uniform.  I was pulled over by a Monroe P.D. officer while doing 83 in a 55 mph zone while driving on southbound Rt. 4 in LeSourdsville. Our former instructor, who is now the school's assistant principal, was in charge of running all background checks for the Monroe P.D.   The Monroe P.D. officer took one look at me in my uniform and gave me a royal ass chewing, which I completly deserved.  He didn't even give me a warning and told me to get my ass to class and explain to my new instructor, a former Hamilton P.D. officer what had happened.  I arrived just befor roll call and thought I was home free.  As soon as I step foot in our lab I could see that I was was mistaken.  In the instructor's office was my new instructor along with my former instructor.  I got a 15 minute chewing and a zero for the first day.  All in all, a very light reprimand considering it was the first day of the school year and I was in uniform.

The last time I was pulled over by a Montgomery County S.O. deputy for doing 43 in a 35 while traveling on Yankee Street, in Miami Township.  The officer was polite and I could see he was writing me up in my rear view mirror.  He returned and said "Don't worry, it's only a warning.  By the way I like the sticker and the magnet."  I had a "Support our Troops" yellow ribbon magnet and a Bush-Cheney sticker in my rear window.  Is that cool or what?

1 since I moved to the U.S. about 14 years ago - and I don't feel bad, because it was on a straight highway in Illinios on a clear day, and EVERYONE was going the same speed (about 85 in a 65), and everyone was stopped and ticketed in a huge speed trap.

Keeping my speed within 10mph of the limit on highways and 5mph around town is probably the reason.  Driving a slow vehicle probably helps too.

I got three in one week in the same city pulled over 4 times that week. Small city only ran 3 cars at night, 3 times I was pulled over by the same cops. I just got my car fixed and was out hot rodding alot that week. On sunday I got pulled over 42 in a 35, they let me off with a warning. Tuesday I got a 54 in a 35 that he was kind enough to write me for 5 over. Thursday I got pulled over for squelling tires and a and 57 in a 35 wrote for 10 over. It was same cops that cuaght me on Sunday, I told them I was just learning how to drive a stick thats why I squeeled the tires, They said they would of believed it if I did not squeel them going into 2nd and third gear. Friday I was 61 in a 45 going thru what they said was a red light ( I swore it was yellow). I joked with the cops on friday and asked if they still need to see my drivers Licience. So at the end of the week I was $500 in tickets went to court explained to the judge that I planned on putting ther car away for 6 months (my parents made me do that when they found out how much trouble I was in) and walking everywhere. He said he agreed and suspended my license. I had to take a class over to get my License.

The car was a 1986 Dodge doytona turbo Z fire engine red,  that my friends and I rebuilt the engine High pro cam, valves and cylinders, Plus I re worked the turbo to put out more boost. Not the thing a idiot 17 year old should have. I worked then paid for the car and parts my self. I paid the price with tickets. I sold the car for pennys for what I put into it and bought a Neon. The neon is gone drive a jeep or the mini van now. I was young and dumb then. Im 30 now and not a single ticket since.

One when I was 16.  I rolled my car into a field and got a ticket for "driving at a speed greater than reasonably prudent."

ticket one - Mustang - speeding
ticket two - Mustang - speeding to get to class for SAT after flat tire
ticket three- Cutlass - speeding (music-enduced)
ticket four - Cutlass - failure to stop at red, tried to turn into reckless but I fought it
ticket five - Cutlass - reckless driving, brought my grandmother to court for sympathy and got it (driving school)
ticket six - Cutlass - no proof of insurance (although I had it, just not the papers)

ticket seven - would have been, but I had an ex-LE Caprice at that time and pursuant didn't "get the chance to give it to me"

No speeding tickets or other moving violations.  But I have gotten 4 parking tickets in NYC during the 2 years I lived in Brooklyn. Fought all 4 and beat all 4.  I think the magistrate/hearing officer was impressed I took the time to fight them, presented photo's to back up my arguments and did it all within 2 days of getting the tickets.  I tried very hard to avoid getting the tickets, and would have just paid them if I thought they were deserved.
