Has anyone taken the TAC2 PERSONAL PROTECTION HANDGUN - LEVEL I class at TAC2 in East Tennessee?

I am looking for some training, as a Christmas/Birthday gift  for myself and was wondreing if that school is any good. I have never had any formal defensive pistol training before. I have taken some NRA Pistol marksmanship classes and shot IPSC matches but that is it.

here is the link PERSONAL PROTECTION HANDGUN - LEVEL I

Tell me what you think.

seems like if you have the basics down, you can find better use for $100.

Another post mentioned Frontsite,
multiple day course for $200

where in TN do you live?

They've got a nice range. The guy that runs the place (Doc) is a chiropractor. Not sure what his credentials are as far as defensive pistol instruction goes. I'm not saying he's not qualified, just don't know. I shot a tactical 3 gun there couple of years ago. They put on a good match but seemed to be bent on IDPA scoring.
