First AR Purchase

I just made my first AR purchase at a local gunshow a week ago, I picked up a Bushmaster
M4A3 14.5" w/Izzy Brake, Collapseable stock and bayo lug. I have been looking to buy an AR for about a month or so now and I picked this one up on a good deal. Was it a wise purchase for a first AR?

Personally I love the looks of the rifle, it just looks bad-ass, and since the ban is now over I had to purchase something w/all the evil features, you never know where another ban will come
around and at least it will be grandfathered...Im going to a gun range here in Ohio this comming Friday mourning to test out her abilities. This is only my second gun purchase, my first was a Savage Arms 308, all Stainless with accu-trigger and I love that gun...btw im only 19...tryin to start a good collection early...lol

yea i think i caught something, a buddy of mine i work with was a marine for 8 yrs, he kinda rubbed off on me...i wanted to join but i dont see signing my life away for 8 years being very worthwile

You got a lot of catchin up to do man. I got 3 shotguns, 2 AR's, and a Bolt gun, and I am only 19 too. . .
(BTW, that Bushy wont be your last AR. Welcome to the addiction . . . . . )

Excellent choice..You won't be disappointed. Take the time to properly clean and zero the weapon. Also take it apart and become familiar with it.
