I lived in central Arkansas for a long time, My favorite sign was the one coming into Little Rock from Pine Bluff.  I think it was interstate 65.  The sign said "Little Rock the first capital Bill Clinton called home".  That sign was riddled with so many bullet holes within a week after they put it up you could read it.

I was there last week.

Arkansas seems full of fine folks.

How in the world did they elect Klinton as Governor?

I'm surprised that sign is still there, one might think they'd make pretty good target holders.

I use to live just outside of Hot Springs and went to Fountain Lake High School.

Man I haven't been to that park in years!  Do they still have the rollercoaster called the tornado?

I have only been to AR once to visit my uncle/aunt who lived north of Bentonville.  But at the edge of Fayetteville was one of those disgusting brown signs which said "Fayetteville, First Home of Married Couple Bill and Hilary Clinton".   Disgusting!!!  I am from Minnesota and we don't have those kind of crap signs up about Hubert Humphrey or Walter Mondale.

Well Bill Clinton is sort of Arkansas claim to fame, but the general consenus seems to be that Bill wasnt that good of a governer and he did everything for Little Rock and not for the rest of the state.

BTW I am sort of on a long visit here, so dont know much about the state
