the first is classified, cause it's a big investment project.  If I don't go for it, I'll publish specs and diagrams on arfkom at a later date.  The second one I thought of last week.....  My question is the legality.

Now, AR15 pistols are legal.  check.  They are legally configured WITHOUT buttstocks.  check.  So all of them, minus the OA93's, have buffer tubes (or lower extension receivers - whatever!) sticking out.  So I want to market a shoulder harness setup that has two buffer-tube-receiver holes (one for lefties, one for righties) that would (in a non-permanent way, just an inch or so deep.) give a little more stability to the pistol and allow for aimed rapid fire.

My question is whether this appartus is legal - forgive teh microsoft paint image....

Do you really want to draw a 9 inch barrel that much closer to your face?

Alkward firing position.  You couldn't get your face far enough away from the sights I would suspect.

I doubt it would be illegal though.

Product is a shoulder protection device.
Not a stock.
Carefull if they deam the pistol buffer tube to be a stock then no more pistol AR.
Except for grandfathering.

THESE are REALLY REALLY funny replies.  I'm not being sarcastic, first time ever, I really laughed.

On the color, I didn't want to leave pic black and white you assh#les!!!!

Obviously, the receptors could be extended, but that would really put them - 'in the way' of doing anything else useful., e.g. pistol draw, right arm movement, etc.

Liederhosen..... you guys crack me up

I'm assuming the rear of the receiver mates into those cups/receptacles?

I've shot an AR pistol once, I just don't see the need - and having the gun that close to the chest doesnt' seem like it would work very well.   Try holding your strong hand (gripping hand) just about 2" off your chest and see if that's comfortable for you.   VERY awkward for me.

Just IMHO.
