Just brought to my attention - since sKerry has 4 mansions, the Secret Service would have to fortify ALL of them.  


This would continue after he left office too.

Kerry would probably pull a Bill Clinton and charge the Secret Service $10,000 (or more) rent per  month at each mansion.

Snopes is your friend on this one.  While Snope is definitely pro-Kerry, there's enough truth to know that this is another urban legend.  Do your own snopes search.
