A good friend of mine just called me. He said last night that someone started yelling in his front yard at about 3 AM, then kicked his front door in, actually broke it, then ran off.
He's a good ol' boy who can handle himself well and isn't afraid to fight. But the problem is he wants to borrow a gun.
He wants to borrow a gun. I don't know what to do. I have a couple of unregistered guns that I have thought about loaning him. If I let him borrow one, it'll probably be a Remington 870 that I bought at an estate sale. It's got a TacStar pistol-grip and fore-grip. Pretty menacing looking.
The other problem is that he has two boys, ages approx. 9 and 11. Perfect age to find the gun and do who knows what. I keep all my guns locked in a separate gun room in my house. I'm sure he doesn't have any way to secure the gun.
What the hell should I do?
