Pennsylvania has gone Democrat in the last three Presidential elections.  I just don't get it.  Especially when a Democrat representative like Jack Murtha is one of only TWO morons to actually vote to reinstate the draft.  It was Charlie Rangel's bill and he didn't even vote for it.

I'll be doing my part.

Since retiring from the Air Force I've registered in NC and am all set to "pull that lever" / "punch that hole" or whatever it is that regular (non absentee) voters do here nowadays. Lots of Bush Chenney signs around these parts so my vote should blend in quite happily with the many others around here.

I've missed many votes in the past but this one I deem to be too important to miss. Too much is riding this time.

There's no way Kerry can lose CT, but I haven't seen nearly as many lawn signs or bumper stickers for him as I did for Gore in 2000. In fact, they are conspicuously absent.

Kerry is only up by 1% in PA. We are not giving up until all the votes are counted.

I am praying for a late season hurricane that will strike NJ and SE PA on the night of 1 Nov. morning 2 Nov. This will suppress the Philly vote, and allow Bush to comfortably carry the state.

Hey, a man can dream can't he.

You mention pull that lever, punch that hole.  I know this is off topic, but does concern the election.  These new voting machines that are computerized, are they rig proof?  It just seems to me that with all the hackers in this world that someone might be able to rig these machines and once someone votes how would anyone know if there was voter fraud?

That's because democrats don't like Kerry either, the only reason there voting for him is they hate Bush.

There is something wrong with that map.  Commiefornia is the wrong color.  It should be Dark BLUE.

If I took a piss on everybody I met yesterday, not one Republican would have gotten wet.  This state will go 110% for Kerry.  (Yes I know that the max is 100%, but you have to count the demoncratic fraud).

Nope.  Look at the second debate for proof.  Disregard what Bush and Kerry said...just think about the questions that were being asked.  All most all of the question were concerning why people should vote for Bush.  No everyone make LIKE GWB but they KNOW that the USA NEEDS him.

The scoop is that IA & NJ are white.

Thus removing Bush & Kerry from their normal numbers

Bush will get upwards of 290 EVs... Just wait & see...

Well, i didn't explain it well in my earlier post, now that I have coffee I will try again.

I watch people and talk to them.  I listen to their concerns and see what they do.

I study them.  ANd I study the other people that are studing them with me.

ANd here are the facts as I see it.

People are still very much concerned about Iraq and GWB.  Mostly the mothers with kids.  ANd mothers will always put the safety of their children first.  Their questions to the President in the second debate clearly reflected this.  These women are also smarter then the peacenik generation of the 60's.  They have come to realize that running from a war will not protect their kids this time.  They WANT a strong man to protect them and their children.

GWB is that man....and they know it!

So the way I see it is that Kerry will take NY,VT,MA,RI, and maybe Cali.

GWB will take the rest.

GW will not take IL, and not likely take both MN or WI.  WA and OR?  Maybe one but not likely both.  What about DE, CT, MD?  I can MAYBE see GW taking 1 or two of them, but not three.

The best we will see if my opinion is 40-41 states.  I think you are wise O Sgtar, but I think you are a bit optimistic!

[emperor] Oooh, I'm afraid that Sarge will be paying up on a lot of debts come the day after the election!  HehHehHehHehHehHehHehHeh [/emperor]

There are simply more than 5 states that are a liberal lock (NY, IL, CA, MA, HI, RI, CT, VT).  There are several more states that Bush would be lucky to get (MN, WA, MD, MI, DE).  Even some of the possibles are tossups IMO (WI, OR, NM, ME, NH).  We haven't even gotten around to the "battleground" states yet.    GW isn't Reagan, and the populace is at least 4 times stupider than they were in 1984.

Are you guys sensing the first signs of a pull-away by Bush into an unsurmountable lead?

I mean..in spite of all the help Kerry is getting from the media, in spite of Kerry beating the crap out of Bush in at least two of the three debates...as the pundits are so eager to tell us,   in spite of the maniacal tactics of the Crackpot Left...Bush STILL leads Monsieur Kerry and the lead is now apparently expanding.

I think our guy is beginning a stretch run and things may be looking bad for Monsieur Kerry in the next few days.

What say ye?

Sure they do. It just doesn't matter, since Murtha brings home the pork in a big way. He is also in a very safe district.

Maryland is possible if the black turnout is down.  Blacks carry the Dem party here--provide at least 50 percent of the Dem votes in statewide elections (state is about 25 percent black over-all).
