Dont check your mail for a couple weeks and see how much you have left. I used to have a Hotmail acct, but even though I practiced safe surfing, and didn't post my address anywhere, I got 50+ Spam a day. Filled that acct right on up in short order, and then people I really wanted to hear from couldn't get through 'cause the mailbox was full.
I tried Popmail, and got nary a spam. They started to charge though, so I now use my ISP's mail. I blocked all mail from Hotmail and Yahoo, and guess what? Not ONE spam since.

I switched over to Yahoo when they offered 100mb inboxes. My old hotmail inbox still shows 2mb.

Still at 2mb here, but I use my hotmail specifically to filter junk from my ISP account. When surfing, and they need an addie so I can continue.. hotmail account fits the bill and no junk to my ISP

Got the 250MB hotmail upgrade as well, but they took away the ability to use Outlook/Outlook Express to check hotmail. If you want that feature now, it will cost you $20/year (plus you get upgraded to 2GB).
