In case you didn't know, Sean Penn wrote them a nasty, self-righteous, and pompous letter in reaction to their new movie that mocks politically outspoken actors (you can read it here, if you want)

Matt Stone/Trey Parker's response

they mock any one, thats why I still watch them. They may have their own views but they go right out the window on tv.

Bush, Kerry, Moore, Penn every ones a target.

Even lord of the rings :)

They are funny, but like similar to Michael Moore, they are friendless pudwhacks.

They would be the kind of friends that talk about you behind your back.

BAWAWAAWAWAWAWAWAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAha . . . .hahahahhhaa . . . . ha.  ha

WOW . . . that's some funny shit.  Mocking Sean Penn is just too frickin' easy, though.  It's like a canned hunt.

they are nothing like micheal moore.

They are not trying to make political propaganda. They make comedy. THey're not trying to be "profound" like micheal moore, they are trying to be funny and make fun of people. THey are also not fat slobs.

Trey parker and matt stone: funny guys who make some hilarious shit. not being sanctimonius cunts, just making people laugh (alot fo tiems at the expense of other celebrities)

Micheal moore: fat douchebag who makes movies that suck, are not funny, and are liberal propaganda.

What a fuckstick. He challenges them to ride through Fallujah with him.

HE went when he was trying tokiss cover Goddamn Hussein's ass and I'm sure he had an escort during a period OF NO CONFLICT.

Penn is over the hill, and like all the "artists" that did the pro-Skerry concerts, washed up and insignifigant.

Actually, most of the South Park episodes do have a point behind them, such as Death Camp of Tolerance.  It is the damn funniest show on Television.

What's funny is that Penn ragged on them for saying that people who didn't know what they were talking about shouldn't vote.  He said that it was irresponsible of them.  Hmmm, I would thing that voting without knowing anything would be the irresponsible thing.

Oh i didnt say they dont have a point, just that they are not arrogant. Alot of the episodes have very good points....

I love south park.

thats the thing, SP is entertainment, and thats it. It may have a very good point lots of times, but its just a show to make you laugh.

thats why they make fun of people like sean penn. These celebs thing they are there to educate the masses and shit. The reality is they are just clowns here for our amusement. thats their purpose in life and they should stick to it. The last thing I want to hear from an actor who's life is so far removed from any normal person is his political opinions.

I was watching clips about the making of Team America, and they basically said that they can't stand it when actors like Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon try to use their fame for political purposes.  One of them said, "It's like, 'And now for an opinion on the Iraq War, Cookie Monster!'  It's the same thing!"

They also explained why they HATE Michael Moore and that they saved their most brutal treatment for him.  They gave a brief description of what they did and I can't wait to see it.  BTW, they also said that they filled the Michael Moore puppet with chopped up pieces of REAL PORK!  I don't want to give anything away, but I will say that there was a reason for it!

You mean to Sean Penn?  Ratters touched on it.  Basically, Parker and Stone clarified that they believe that voting without careful consideration is irresponsible and that uninformed people should not vote.

thats a great line.

its true tho. Who gives a fuck what sean penn or golf ball eyes susan sarandon thinks?

they are not real people, they just play them on TV.

they think this gives them some sopbox to push their ideas on everyone else. They dont realize how irrelevant and out of touch with reality they are.

NOBODY CARES WHAT HOLLYWOOD DOUCHEBAGS THINK.

Just caught the blurb on Conan's show with Stone and Paker - they're actually a bit pissed about Moore using them in the Bowling for Columbine film.  They stated that the piece that followed their interview in the movie was NOT their doing. No surprise Moore twisted and made an issue that didnt represent their beliefs.

Aside from that, they say they have "strong beliefs about guns" - their parents own them, grew up with them etc.

Bravo fellas.

I didn't think Moore twisted what Matt Stone said in BFC.  All Stone said was that high school is a miserable wretched place, and that it isn't the end-all be all world.  You graduate and get on with your life, and many people who were big shots in high school end up with boring mundane lives while sometimes the misfits go on to do interesting creative stuff in the big cities.  Not always true, of course, but he was right.

they werent pissed about the interview in the movie, they were pissed about how Moore put an anti-gun cartoon which they think was doen in "soth park style" directly after that, which made it seem like they were involved with it.

They are not anti-gun. If I was in their position I would be mad too.

It has Sean Penn and Alec Baldwin, so desparate to get their views across, heavily arming themselves and teaming up with Kim Il Sung of North Korea.

Proof that Sean Penn is an even bigger idiot.
Would you send a smarmy condescending letter to those guys?
The guys who can whip up an animated show that mocks you, in just a few days?
Professional satirists?

What an idiot.

Hit the "Alt" and "Prt Scr" buttons. This will capture the active window.

Go into MS Paint

Select  Edit and Paste

You'll see the window.  Crop out the character and save it as a .jpg

BTW- If you want to -- "Ctrl" and "Prt Scr" will capture your whole desktop.

"Take this as a personal invitation from me to you (you can ask Dennis Miller along for the ride as well) to escort you on a trip, which I took last Christmas. We'll fly to Amman, Jordan and I'll ride with you in a (?) 12 hours through the Sunni Triangle into Fallujah and Baghdad and I'll show you around."

So penn is willing to go back? Now there's a war going on, and he'd be a prime target for say ..oh....the u.s. marines maybe........  go for it sean
