Well after getting in trouble for some spic trying to stab me in HS I decided fuck it. So I guess I am one of the 30% then again I am far better off then most of the 70% HS is BS any more, it is pointless. To make my point, your considered brilliant if you take geometry your freshman year.  At least that is how it is here, but we have some shitty schools. I was better off just spending my time reading and getting real world exp. And not to mention 11 credits didn't get transferred my senior year for some bs reason, something about the district I came from. |

I never heard of a high school letting students submit their own photos for their year book portraits.
The schools usually have a photo day and they take everyone;s picture in the same pose. The school said he could have the picture in another section. Maybe I didn't hear the whole story, but I don't see a problem with the school's decision. |

We were allowed each a half-page to use as we wished. They rejected my friend's counterstrike picture. They rejected my other friend's hunting picture. I snuck in a steyr scout image ..... i suspect because prominently under it was the Freud quote "a fear of weapons is a sign of emotional and sexual immaturity" (paraphrasing from memory).

when I was in highschool there was picture day for non seniors. seniors had to go to the photo studio and have a pic taken. otehrs got a small b&w pic seniors got a larger color pic in the year book. for the msot part seniors wore suits or nice dresses but theoretically they could have posed like this kid did, although I'm not sure what would have happened if they had selected a pic like that for the yearbook one

I had an editing class where we were asked to make and publish our own books. My teacher Oked my book of guns. I had 3 gun competition photos, pistols, AR15s, me on the cover with my black rifles, a section on what is the best black rifle for you, ect.

I do, I have a MAJOR problem w/it. Violates freedom of expression, freedom of choice - that's BS. I voted... :) Should students who participate in shooting sports be allowed to show guns in yearbook portraits?
