FWIW, I played for four years, two in HS and two in the service (Yes, Virginia, they used to have "semi-pro" teams back then...and a pretty cool gig too
.)
Countless hours of school after that, just a smidge of knowledge of human development and decades of experience lead me to the opinion that regardless of how tough and buff the "women" shown here are, in a stand up match against an equally sized and equally trained and skilled male, the women get their asses handed to them. The power of a well developed and well trained [male] football player over the age of seventeen is simply amazing. These boys heading to a university team today are huge, fast and hit like a train!
It wouldn't even be close. A male's body mass and overall muscle development without steroids still puts him far in front of a pumped up female. This isn't what nature intended the women for and no amount of weight training, hormone ingesting and sled hitting can rectify that immutable fact.
A little anecdote: When I was oh...say ten or eleven years old, I was at the city plunge with my buddies playing (Think "The Sandlot"). While in the pool, for reasons that still elude me, an older (Maybe twelve or thirteen years old) wench took exception to something I said or did. I didn't know the girl. I just remember that she was LARGE and domineering. In any case, for whatever reason, she slapped me HARD...right in the kisser. I was stunned! I'd never been hit by any female except my mother and grandma...ever! But...since I was a veteran of many street fights with boys, I reacted instantly without remembering what my Old Man had always told me about smacking womenz...and I punched that girl dead in her mush...just once...but BOY hard, with my closed FIST!
Of course, NOW her female hormones really kicked in and she began bawling like a real girl. I got tossed out of the pool and sent home. No amount of explanation would suffice for the righteous lifeguards. I was history.
Sorry "ladies"....you ain't even in the same league.
