Shall we discuss the game here? I got nothing better to do.
Red Sox went down 1-2-3 in the first. Mussina looked pretty good. Schilling is pitching pretty well so far for the Sawx. On a related note, should I change my avatar to a Sawx logo for the ALCS? |
Sheffield with a double to left for the Spanks, Matsui with an RBI slap floater double to left center.
Now Bernie Williams brings Matsui home with a liner through the right side of the infield. Schilling getting hammered now. All with two outs. |
Mussina perfect through two innings. Yanks lead 2-0.
Am I the only one watching this game? |
I hope not! |
Mussina is on his game tonight.
Man I wish he would have stayed with the O's. |
Schilling ain't got his stuff tonight. Bases loaded for the Yanks, bottom of the 3rd, nobody out.
Matsui with a three run double to deep right and the Spanks lead 5-0.
Hideki is the biggest Sawx killer of them all. |
Mussina perfect through four innings, struck out the side in the top of the fourth.
6-0 Yanks. I think Schilling is out of the game. Just 3 innings out of an ailing Curt tonight. Look for the Sox to short him and have him start game four, especially if the Yanks and Sox split in the Bronx. |
Francona is an asshole. Schilling is hurt, and even the shot in his ankle isn't working. They're risking hurting him for the rest of the year, if not longer.
+1 He couldn't plant his foot...Hell, I'd rather have Arroyo or Lowe start the series rather than risk a further injury to Schilling... |
This isn't the first time he's played with a hurt ankle.... GO YANKEES!
Leskanic in for Schilling. Walks the first two he faces.
Yanks first and second, nobody out. ARod up and hits into a 6-4-3. |
Mussina is on FIRE. Five innings of perfect baseball.
Mendoza in for the Sox. |
Im glad Mariano got back, I hope he throws some fire in the coming games to work through his grief.
Ummmm John Skerry? |
It's football season. Baseball is a filler between the end of college baseball and college football. Pro baseball is just a bunch of overpaid, spoiled men bought and traded by rich owners. Baseball is becoming passe.
Mark Bellhorn breaks up the no-no and perfecto with a one out double to left center.
A little Botox run to allow them to save face... they are going down like Skerry on teRHEsa's cock!
Varitek with a two run shot to right center, Yanks lead cut to 3 runs.
8-5 Spankees, top of the 7th. |
LOL, nope we just want to send you home going... I coulda been a contendah!
Well, I'll say one thing about my beloved Yanks. They certainly make the last few innings interesting!
Cool...A thread on the "Team that gets to Lose to the Cardinals Series".
SG |
GO SAWX! HIT IT WICKED FAH MILLAH!
Damn, Ortiz missed a game tying homer by about |
Which team has more World Series Championships that any others? Boston fans any answers? *crickets*
Just as an aside. Am I the only one who misses the older stirup-style socks on baseball uniforms?
The new ones look like crap.... |
You guys got 3 innings... we've got 6... and we have Rivera! Just go back and pahk tah cah in hahvahd yahd!
Testify brother... testify! |
no, you are not. I agree. SG |
Well, this one went from a blowout to a pressure cooker awfully quick, eh???
GO YANKEES!!! |
Its usually what I say to some chick when I have her face buied in the pillow and I'm hitting it like a pitbull on a ham... smack that ass and give her a "whose your daddy bitch? What's my name? Say it bitch!" |
Somehow, I don't think that's the application of the phrase here... |
