hahaha... and they called it a 'muzzle break'.
I don't think I'd want to shoot a full auto M1. That's just too much for a shoulder fired weapon. |

And it took them 15 more years to get to the M14..... The T20(?) was ready to produce in 1945.
Cheer up. I understand a few Garands were registered as FA during the 86 amnesty. you can modify that to your heart's content. Good luck finding one. Never saw one. |

for most people, it really hard to handle full auto .308 rifles such as M1, M14/M1A, FAL and G3. You may shoot well at first round, and the second round will go nowhere. That is why the auto device was usualy removed from M14.
I used M60 instead if full auto is a real concern. |

I own one, it's called a Berretta BM-59.

IIRC at the end of Band of Brothers (the book) they said several USGI's modded the M1 to fire full auto.
Did NOT say how they did it. |

You want a full auto garand? it's called the m-14 or the B.A.R. take your pick!
 personally I think the Sturmgever 44 is x10 better!

My grandpa told about how guys would stone down the trigger group surfaces, basically getting their Garands to go full-auto that way.
So yah, it can be done. |

We are talking battle rifles here - M14, BM-59, FAL, G3, ... The Strum/44 is an assult rifle akin to the M16, FNC, AK-47, ... |
