Of course, John Kerry knows all those Brits were merely BRIBED or bamboozled  into being there.

My deepest respects to our valiant allies. May there sacrifice not be in vain.

I gotta ask....

"Mr. Kerry, how does a unilateral American invasion of a middle-eastern country end up killing British soldiers?"

According to Kerry and Edwards they couldn't have died helping us fight in Iraq because we're going it alone...

My deepest respect for those brit soldiers and my prayers go out to their families

(I wish we had one of these with a British flag)

RIP brothers.

I still don't like the way you Brits carry caskets, but I guess it makes you guys unique.

And I must say, you do it right and propper.

Very well said.  We need constant reminders of our true allies, considering how the Dems are determined to denigrate them to serve their own ends.

You don't get to see them when they arrive at Dover, but you can see the burials at ANC.

The country can pretend no one dies all they want. We still remember.

The coalition of the coerced my ass.
Thank you vito for sharing those names. I had the opportunity to participate in a field of rememberance last year planting the national flags of men and women of all nationalities killed in the coalition's war on terror. I saw a good many British flags as well as Spanish, Polish, Thai, Ukranian,  and many others I cannot remember. It was a sad sight but I was proud to carry another nations flag and salute it reverently.

Interesting how our two nations started off sort of... on the wrong foot .    But since then we have stuck together through so much through the years.

And also how we and the French started off on much better terms and now.........

We know who our real friends are.

And fuck John Kerry for slandering the sacrifices of our closest ally.

Those be 'The Soldiers of the Queen' … Grenadier Guards, the troops who guard Buckingham Palace. Our  servicemen who die in the service of their country deserve and get the best as honour guard. You can see the rest of the honour guard in full ceremonial uniform in the picture with the C17

Thanks Andy,  and tell all your countrymen that the U.S. thanks them for their service.

I went into a public-'ouse to get a pint o'beer,
The publican 'e up an' sez, "We serve no red-coats here."
The girls be'ind the bar they laughed an' giggled fit to die,
I outs into the street again an' to myself sez I:

O it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, go away";
But it's ``Thank you, Mister Atkins,'' when the band begins to play,
The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
O it's ``Thank you, Mr. Atkins,'' when the band begins to play.

I went into a theatre as sober as could be,
They gave a drunk civilian room, but 'adn't none for me;
They sent me to the gallery or round the music-'alls,
But when it comes to fightin', Lord! they'll shove me in the stalls!

For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, wait outside";
But it's "Special train for Atkins" when the trooper's on the tide,
The troopship's on the tide, my boys, the troopship's on the tide,
O it's "Special train for Atkins" when the trooper's on the tide.

Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep
Is cheaper than them uniforms, an' they're starvation cheap;
An' hustlin' drunken soldiers when they're goin' large a bit
Is five times better business than paradin' in full kit.

Then it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy how's yer soul?"
But it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll,
The drums begin to roll, my boys, the drums begin to roll,
O it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll.

We aren't no thin red 'eroes, nor we aren't no blackguards too,
But single men in barricks, most remarkable like you;
An' if sometimes our conduck isn't all your fancy paints:
Why, single men in barricks don't grow into plaster saints;

While it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, fall be'ind,"
But it's "Please to walk in front, sir," when there's trouble in the wind,
There's trouble in the wind, my boys, there's trouble in the wind,
O it's "Please to walk in front, sir," when there's trouble in the wind.

You talk o' better food for us, an' schools, an' fires an' all:
We'll wait for extry rations if you treat us rational.
Don't mess about the cook-room slops, but prove it to our face
The Widow's Uniform is not the soldier-man's disgrace.

For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Chuck him out, the brute!"
But it's "Saviour of 'is country," when the guns begin to shoot;
An' it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' anything you please;
But Tommy ain't a bloomin' fool - you bet that Tommy sees!

Thanks for posting this, Vito.

There are things that run deep, and the shared brotherhood in fighting this war is at the top of the list.

I am proud to know the Brits as our allies, and we are proud to be yours.

I'm also proud to have had a hand in training the lads in the 99 Squadron who maintain that C-17.

God bless 'em, every one.

The Black Watch are deployed in Iraq at the moment, 2 Parachute Regiment rotated out from Iraq in April this year… but will probably be going back after Christmas.
