my breakthrough game keeps stopping in the bunker level.  At a certain point in the level, it simply sends me to the main menu and thats it.  can't return to game.

Have not experienced this issue, but when I experience strange behavior like this I usually have to do the following to resolve it:
1 - apply the latest patch
2 - restart the level from the very beginning.

Did you try to uninstall and then reinstall the game.

I haven't experienced this problem, but I've had to reinstall a couple of other games I had problems with.
