Remember what Al Sharpton said at the DNC... and tell everyone!
"People ask why we support the Democratic party. Well we was once offered 40 acres and a mule, we never saw those 40 acres, we never got the mule, so we figured we'd ride this donkey as far as it would take us!" or words precisely to that effect. I'll need to find the actual quote. They probably avoided the prohibition on campaigning in a church by having Jackson and Sharpton endorse while the pastor of the church stayed quiet. Besides, only Republicans are prohibited from mixing church and politics... silly boys! |

I thought the same thing. Could result in a revocation of your tax-exempt status, IIRC. Funny how we always saw Clinton in some black church railing on conservatism, but nothing was ever done about it. |

I saw him pull out a big wad of cash and just take one bill off of it and then put the rest back in his pocket. I didn't see if he put it in the collection plate.
