I've got a severe sleep disorder.  I didn't claim it on my ETS physical though.  Do you think the VA will still square me away?

Yep, the last hour or so before bed is pretty much erased from memory for me too. Once I took an Ambien because I was all wound up and it was way past bedtime, I guess I bid on a bunch of stuff on eBay and ordered some stuff online from somewhere. The next day I thought I remembered ordering something (because one of my credit cards was out on my desk) but couldn't remember what or from where. I checked my computer's history and everything, not a clue. 3 days later I got a call from FAC telling me the AK folding stock I'd ordered was out of stock and would be in in 2 weeks or so. They told me the rest of my order was ready to ship. I asked what else I'd ordered, it was stuff I definitely didn't need. I cancelled the order.

I also get dizzy spells the next morning, as if it's still working and I'm fighting it to wake up.
My wife gets visual hallucinations on it.

We don't have it in the house anymore, Tylenol PM or a couple Jager shots are fine with me.

It's a prescription drug, the legal way to get it would be to let your doctor know you're having trouble with insomnia and he'll likely write you a 'script.
