I cant believe that NV will go to Kerry. Wisconcin is wrong as well put that to Bush. Take NM and give that to Kerry. Bush picks up ten EV to put him at 258 and Kerry at 270.
It all comes down to Ohio. |

I don't know, I think Kerry is going to appeal to a lot of people. But both my parents are in the Medical Profession and Kerry is a facktard. Bush was absolutely right when he stated the high cost of medical care is due to all the malpractice suits. The insurance companies never fight them, they always just pay them off. Doctors pay a fortune in premiums
I'd love to see Kerry's ass handed to him on election day. Like that Robin Hood shit of taking from the rich and putting into health care is gonna make all our problems go away and make all these job. I didn't get my degree in business, but even I know that health care isn't the foundation of a good business model. |

But how in the world do you get a "projected map"? Polls are too fickle to be projected any farther than the next candidate's speech. |

well there has been a spirited debate here on that methodology... basically you plug in data and run it through a computer simulation that takes into account movements in polls over the recent past and projects it out through a regression formula. Problem is, this website uses too many sources for data that swing wildly, so the regression is flawed... Paeber thinks fatally so, I think it is still somewhat useful as the polls tend to balance each other out in my mind... not perfect, but a baseline for discussion and analysis.

New WAPO tracking poll out.
Numbers match todays Rasmussen poll. As of now, Bush's slippage appears to have been halted and almost all of this polling was prior to last night. We got the BIG MO again! |

They make a best-fit line for the graph of each candidates poll numbers, in other words, they look at the overall trend of the graph and see where it puts the candidate on election day, for example:  Notice the light red and blue lines, it shows Bush ahead on election day based on the overall trend of the graph. |
